Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Nate Jones' Big Game Leads Ohatchee over Glencoe

Starting off the list is Ohatchee's Nate Jones, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jones rushed for 211 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Those 211 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Glencoe had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Jones it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Jones saw the Yellowjackets), he rushed for 201 yards and three touchdowns.

Colby Hester Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Friday, Ohatchee got the W thanks in part to Colby Hester playing the best football he has all season. Hester picked up 162 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He has become a key player for Ohatchee: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Unfortunately for Glencoe, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Hester. When Hester last faced the Yellowjackets back in October of 2023, he rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries.
