Soccer Game Preview: York Institute vs. White County

The York Institute Dragons will challenge the White County Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

York Institute is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Livingston Academy on Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Tyler Homan and Jameson Wright scored both of York Institute's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, White County made sure to put some goals up on the board against Harriman on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Blue Devils as they made off with a 5-1 victory.

The win got White County back to even at 1-1. With that draw, York Institute's record moves to 1-2-1.

York Institute might still be hurting after the 6-1 loss they got from White County in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can York Institute avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
