Basketball Recap: Clearfield Alliance Christian Takes a Loss

Clearfield Alliance Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Blair County Christian Bobcats, falling 46-25. Clearfield Alliance Christian was probably out for revenge after losing 65-44 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Blair County Christian found their leader in sophomore Aidyn Lundy, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Marucci, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

Clearfield Alliance Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Blair County Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clearfield Alliance Christian will host Johnstown Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Blair County Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Calvary Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
