Basketball Recap: Reynoldsburg Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Reynoldsburg entered their matchup against Lancaster on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Reynoldsburg Raiders took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancaster Golden Gales. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Raiders came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while the Golden Gales are ranked 388th).

Reynoldsburg's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-5. As for Lancaster, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reynoldsburg will face off against Upper Arlington at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lancaster, they will head out to face off against Canal Winchester at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
