Recap: Bluff Dale Bobcats vs. Walnut Springs Hornets
The Bluff Dale Bobcats were the 50-0 winner over the Walnut Springs Hornets when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Bluff Dale took a serious blow against Walnut Springs on Friday, falling 74-26. Bluff Dale just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Bluff Dale's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Austin Saucedo, who threw for 198 yards and four touchdowns. Saucedo is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last six games he's played. Alex Saucedo was another key contributor, gaining 152 total yards and a touchdown.
Bluff Dale's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Walnut Springs, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-6.
Bluff Dale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Walnut Springs will face off against Oglesby at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oglesby is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
