Volleyball Recap: Weeping Water Takes a Loss

Weeping Water was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Palmyra Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 25-15.

Taylor Brack paced Weeping Water's offense, picking up seven kills. Brack got some help from Hailee Rineer and her 12 assists. Rineer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Weeping Water's record is now 4-25. As for Palmyra, they moved to 7-18 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Coming up, Weeping Water will be playing at home against Bergan Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palmyra has already played their next match (against Yutan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
