Routt Catholic/Westfair Christian put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] 41-7. The rankings were on Routt Catholic/Westfair Christian's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.

Routt Catholic/Westfair Christian's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 41 first-half points. Meanwhile, West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 41-0 heading into the break. Although Routt Catholic/Westfair Christian wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war.

Senior Dylan Marshall, who rushed for 145 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Routt Catholic/Westfair Christian's success. In fact, with 14 tackles Marshall was a force on both sides of the ball. Junior Alex Cosgriff was in the mix, too, providing Routt Catholic/Westfair Christian with two touchdowns. The match brought them to 5-4 and dropped West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] to a mirror-image 4-5. Both of these squads appear to be finished for the season, as they have no upcoming games scheduled.
