St. Francis's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Trinity Blazers a 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

St. Francis' victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Trinity, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, St. Francis will venture away from home to face off against DePaul College Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Trinity, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Amundsen at 10:00 a.m.
