Basketball Game Preview: Camelback Spartans vs. South Mountain Jaguars

Camelback hasn't had much luck against South Mountain recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Camelback Spartans will look to defend their home court against the South Mountain Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Camelback's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests.

Camelback is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 88-73 win over Browne on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, South Mountain came into Tuesday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They strolled past Kofa with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 68-53.

Camelback is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for South Mountain, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-16.
