Basketball Recap: Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Takes a Loss

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost to the Edinburg Wildcats at home by a 67-49 margin. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 337th, while the Wildcats are ranked 139th).

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Edinburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-2.

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia will take on Pittsfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Edinburg, they will welcome Athens at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
