Cocoa Beach waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the New Smyrna Beach Barracudas.

The team relied heavily on Connor McGrew, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).

Cocoa Beach's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for New Smyrna Beach, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cocoa Beach will venture away from home to square off against Melbourne at 7:00 p.m. on March 26th. As for New Smyrna Beach, they are taking a road trip to take on University at 4:30 p.m. on March 25th.
