Mullen hasn't lost a match since September 19th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Battle Mountain Huskies a 5-0 shutout. Mullen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit Battle Mountain with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from JT Gerber (2), Alexander Escala, Porter Sturno, and Rocco Manerbino.

Mullen has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-1-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those nine contests. As for Battle Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4-2.
