Basketball Recap: Southwest Covenant Takes a Loss

Southwest Covenant suffered their biggest loss since December 10, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 49-27 to the Okarche Warriors. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Southwest Covenant's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Okarche, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Southwest Covenant will be playing at home against Calumet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Okarche, they are taking a road trip to face off against Crescent at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Crescent: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Okarche has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
