Baseball Recap: Ralston Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Bennington

Ralston faced Bennington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Rams took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Badgers. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Badgers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Ralston saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Elsasser, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Ralston's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Bennington, their record now sits at 16-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ralston will square off against rival Roncalli Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bennington is set to challenge their familiar foe Omaha Northwest at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
