Cardinal Hayes was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from 22nd to fourth in Catholic. Earlier in the week, the Cardinals triumphed over Bishop Ford 18-12.

COLEMAN provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Archbishop Stepinac bested the Knights. COLEMAN's favorite target this week was JERRY THOMPSON, who caught 6 passes for 92 yards.

Nick Esposito was the best receiver in the league this week as St. Anthony's beat Holy Trinity. Esposito racked up 9 receptions for 129 yards. Danny Jones helped St. Anthony's' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 39 yards.

Next week's game between Archbishop Stepinac and St. Anthony's will feature a good passing match up as COLEMAN will test his arm against J.T. Caputo's defensive ability.

As it stands, the Lions are in first, while Xavier is in sixth.

Monsignor Farrell was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating the Rams. The Lions came in at 20 in the state poll after placing at number 52 last week.
