While Bunnell didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars by a score of 6-3 on Monday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Bunnell's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Kolbe-Cathedral, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Coming up, Bunnell will be playing in front of their home fans against Immaculate at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Kolbe-Cathedral, they will venture away from home to square off against Weston at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
