Basketball Game Preview: Valley Lutheran Chargers vs. Genesee Christian Soldiers

The Valley Lutheran Chargers will head out to square off against the Genesee Christian Soldiers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Valley Lutheran is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest win since January 17th on Friday. They blew past Carrollton, posting a 45-11 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.

Meanwhile, Genesee Christian had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They claimed a resounding 46-16 win over the Lancers. The Soldiers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Genesee Christian's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points over those games. As for Valley Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.
