Basketball Recap: Trinity Prep Comes Up Short

Trinity Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 43-28 to the Lake Nona Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-26 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Trinity Prep still got an impressive performance from Jillian Hennebery, who posted 13 points.

Trinity Prep now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Lake Nona, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9.

Trinity Prep will square off against Legacy Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Nona, they will welcome Horizon at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
