Volleyball Game Preview: Howard Lions vs. Broadneck Bruins + How To Watch

The Howard Lions will head out to face off against the Broadneck Bruins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Howard is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Thursday, Howard got the win against Reservoir by a conclusive 3-0.

While Howard won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-22.

Howard can attribute much of their success to Miranda Ball, who had 19 digs and three aces, and Jojo Vassor, who had eight digs. That's the most digs Ball has posted since back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, Broadneck made easy work of North County on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Howard's record now sits at 17-0. As for Broadneck, their record is now 11-2.

Howard might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Broadneck when the teams last played back in September of 2022. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
