Volleyball Recap: Mid Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mid Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Wyoming Area Warriors, falling 3-0.

Mid Valley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-21.

Aubrey Comstock paced Mid Valley's offense, picking up six kills. Comstock got some help from Olivia Parry and her 12 assists. Finally, Krista Demboski kept Mid Valley's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Among those leading the charge was Kenzie Galenty, who had 22 digs and five aces. Gwyn Pealer also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Mid Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Wyoming Area, their record is now 4-8.

Mid Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Dunmore on the 9th. As for Wyoming Area, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Holy Redeemer on the 9th.
