Space Coast won the last time they faced Eau Gallie, and Haley Cowling did her part to make sure it happened again. The Vipers blew past the Commodores 3-0 on Monday with plenty of help from Cowling, who had 23 digs and two aces. Cowling is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.
Space Coast never let Eau Gallie on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-13, 25-14.
Space Coast's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Eau Gallie, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Coming up, Space Coast will challenge Viera at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Eau Gallie and Heritage will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
