Football Recap: Baron Laxa's Big Game Can't Quite Lead St. Patrick-St. Vincent over Berean Christian

St. Patrick-St. Vincent lost against Berean Christian back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bruins fell 28-21 to the Eagles.

Several Bruins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Baron Laxa, who picked up 68 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Christian Smith was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 207 yards and two TDs.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Berean Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, St. Patrick-St. Vincent will welcome De Anza at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Berean Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Redwood Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
