If Nevis wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Fillmore Central, they should've done a better job of containing Josie Corson. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers on Friday for which the team can thank Corson, who had 22 digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 23 times she's played.

Fillmore Central's got stronger as the match went on, holding Nevis to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-13, 25-6.

Fillmore Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-7 record this season. As for Nevis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-7.

Fillmore Central has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Cleveland on the 8th. Nevis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
