After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, College Park brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Acalanes Dons on Tuesday. The Falcons not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 4th.

Savannah Wilson spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on six hits and racked up six Ks. Those hits were her first of the season.

On the hitting side, College Park got a massive performance out of Viviana Moguel, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, Moguel posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Alexis Weiler, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

College Park always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Acalanes only posted an OBP of .333.

College Park's win bumped their record up to 5-7-1. As for Acalanes, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.

Looking ahead, College Park will challenge Northgate at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Acalanes, they will square off against Piedmont at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Highlanders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.27 runs per game on average), something the Dons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
