Nelson will take on the Sandy Pioneers on Tuesday. Nelson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

Barlow hit Nelson with a four-run sixth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. Nelson fell 8-4 to Barlow. Nelson has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nelson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Osterholm, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Sandy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Gresham with a sharp 14-3 win on Friday. The Pioneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

Sandy's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Nelson, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.

Nelson took their win against Sandy in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 9-1 score. Does Nelson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sandy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
