It was a Battle of the Birds when Calvary Baptist faced off against Founders Christian on Tuesday. The Eagles took a 56-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. On the bright side, the 51- point performance marked the Eagles' highest-scoring contest to date.

Calvary Baptist lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Thomas Heine, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Guisler, who posted 20 points and six rebounds.

Calvary Baptist is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Calvary Baptist will take on Family Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Founders Christian, they will square off against Pineywoods Community Academy at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday.
