Basketball Recap: McKinney North Comes Up Short

McKinney North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 58-45 to the Anna Coyotes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-49 back in January.

Anna found their leader in sophomore Karson Jones, who went 8-for-12 en route to 18 points in addition to five assists and five steals. Anna is 5-1 when Jones posts three or more steals, but 7-20 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Lamin Foon, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 12 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.

McKinney North's defeat dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Anna, their victory bumped their record up to 12-21.

As of now, neither McKinney North nor Anna have any future games scheduled.
