Football Game Preview: Robinson Knights vs. Choctawhatchee Indians

Robinson has won five straight games at home, while Choctawhatchee has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Knights will welcome the Indians at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Robinson's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last six games.

Robinson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Hernando 34-12. Considering the Knights have won 13 matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Choctawhatchee faced Dr. Joaquin Garcia in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Indians won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Bulldogs 20-19. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since March 12, 2024.

Robinson is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.6 points over those games. As for Choctawhatchee, their win bumped their record up to 18-2.

Robinson strolled past Choctawhatchee when the teams last played back in May of 2023 by a score of 32-13. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
