Baseball Recap: Hampton Triumphs

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Hampton ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crabbers.

Hampton's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Hampton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Menchville at 4:30 p.m. on the 17th. This will be the Crabbers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Saint John Paul the Great Catholic, they will head out on the road to challenge Bishop O'Connell at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
