Football Game Preview: Sperry Pirates vs. Metro Christian Patriots + Official Tickets

The Sperry Pirates will head out on the road to challenge the Metro Christian Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Sperry blew past Webster, posting a 47-6 win. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Metro Christian won against Dewey last Friday with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Patriots took their matchup with ease, bagging a 42-14 win over Chandler. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 27 points or more this season.

Sperry's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Metro Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Sperry was taken down by Metro Christian 48-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
