Soccer Game Preview: Collinsville vs. Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering

The Collinsville Panthers will challenge the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Collinsville will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Collinsville will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Saturday, then bounced right back against Hokes Bluff on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 6-2 margin over the Eagles. The result was nothing new for Collinsville, who have now won 11 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Jan Segura and Aaron Herrera scored all six of Collinsville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 57 goals.

Meanwhile, Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering came up short against Geraldine on Tuesday and fell 5-3.

Collinsville pushed their record up to 16-2-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 51 goals over those nine matches. As for Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1.

Everything went Collinsville's way against Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering in their previous matchup back in February, as Collinsville made off with a 9-0 victory.
