Football Recap: Pea Ridge Blackhawks vs. Greenbrier Panthers

Pea Ridge had lost seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-7 to make it eight. They were dealt a 49-16 loss at the hands of the Greenbrier Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas football rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Panthers are ranked 11th).

His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 194 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Jack Palmer, who threw for 225 yards and four TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes.

Pea Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 35-20 defeat against Alma on the 31st. As for Greenbrier, they have also already played their next matchup, a 49-20 win against Harrison on the 31st.
