Football Recap: Kearns Comes Up Short

Kearns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Taylorsville Warriors. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 40-13 to the Warriors when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kearns' record now sits at 1-7. As for Taylorsville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Kearns will take on rival West Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Taylorsville is set to challenge their familiar foe Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
