Softball Recap: Worthing Comes Up Short

Worthing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Wheatley Wildcats, falling 18-3. If the Colts were looking for revenge after losing 21-6 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Worthing's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Wheatley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coincidentally, Worthing and Wheatley will both be playing Kashmere the next time they take the field. Worthing will host Kashmere at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, while Wheatley will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on March 17th.
