Volleyball Recap: Harding Takes a Loss

Harding lost against McKinley back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Raiders fell just short of the Red Dragons by a score of 3-2.

Harding took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-16, 23-25, 25-11, 15-9.

Jane Faulk paced Harding's offense, picking up 18 kills. Faulk got some help from Alaina Wagner and her 27 assists. Faulk also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lexi Popadak, each putting up four.

Harding's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for McKinley, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.

Coming up, Harding will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against LaBrae at 7:00 p.m. As for McKinley, they will head out to challenge Lordstown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
