Basketball Recap: Leland Takes a Loss

Leland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 48-35 to the Buckley Bears. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-34 back in January.

Leland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Buckley, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-9.

Leland and Buckley could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Leland (ranked 621st) will meet Glen Lake (ranked 39th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Buckley will challenge Onekama at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday down 252 places (424 vs. 172).
