Football Game Preview: Athol Bears vs. Mahar Regional Senators + How To Watch

Athol is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Mahar Regional a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 10:00 a.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Athol came up short against Belchertown and fell 30-18.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Mahar Regional's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 34-0 to Ludlow, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Mahar Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Athol, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Athol took their win against Mahar Regional when the teams last played back in October by a conclusive 28-8 score. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Senators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
