Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Summer Creek). They blew past the King Panthers 15-1 on Friday. Considering the Bulldogs have won ten contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Summer Creek and bumps their season record up to 14-5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for King, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summer Creek will take on Goose Creek Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Goose Creek Memorial will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Summer Creek surely won't give up without a fight. As for King, a feisty cat fight will be fought as King Panthers challenge Humble Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Humble has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.32 runs per game on average), something King will no doubt try to take advantage of.
