Baseball Recap: Taylor Prep Triumphs

After losing to Southfield Christian the last time they met, Taylor Prep decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 6-1 on Friday.

Taylor Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Khiry Harris, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI.

Taylor Prep's win bumped their record up to 15-9-1. As for Southfield Christian, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Taylor Prep will take on Inter-City Baptist at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Southfield Christian, they will challenge Merritt Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
