Myles Mclaughlin Goes Supernova in Knox Win

Starting off the list is Knox's Myles Mclaughlin, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mclaughlin rushed for 286 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.

The win was the fourth in a row for Knox, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Mclaughlin and Knox will head out on the road to challenge Bremen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Brock Derf Turns in Season-Best Performance

Tippecanoe Valley was led to victory by Brock Derf, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Derf rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

For the year, Derf has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 48.7 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had one rushing touchdown.

Jake Conroy Makes It Two for Knox

The second Knox player making an appearance here is Jake Conroy, and for good reason. He rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 52 receiving yards. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards.

On the year, Conroy has averaged 18.7 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he had six rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 11.

Another Game with at Least Seven Total Tackles from Braedyn Foster

Braedyn Foster continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his ninth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least seven total tackles. He picked up a sack and made 17 total tackles.

For the year, Foster has averaged 11.4 total tackles per game and for the season has those 1 sack. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging seven total tackles per game.

Cody Allen Dazzles in Laville Win

Another LaVille player making an appearance on this list is Cody Allen. He rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for LaVille: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.

Allen must have Glenn's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Allen rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Falcons duked it out back in September of 2023.
