Softball Recap: East Bay Comes Up Short

East Bay lost against Plant back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. East Bay came up short against Plant, falling 18-3. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Bay saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jensen Nelson, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple. That triple marked the first that Nelson hit this season.

East Bay's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Plant, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Looking ahead, East Bay will be playing in front of their home fans against Freedom at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Freedom has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.2 runs per game on average), something East Bay will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Plant, they will challenge Gaither at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
