Basketball Recap: Foundation Christian Comes Up Short at Home Against Grace Christian

Foundation Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Grace Christian Crusader on Monday, falling 63-35.

Thad Shuler had a dynamite game For Grace Christian., dropping a double-double with 34 points and 15 boards. Those 34 points gave Shuler a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Peter Moody, who went 5-for-10 en route to 10 points and five rebounds.

The win got Grace Christian back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Grace Christian will challenge Bible Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Foundation Christian will be paying especially close attention to the Crusader's contest: after the Crusader face off against Conecuh Springs Christian, they'll take on Foundation Christian again at 6:00 p.m. on the 20th.
