Softball Recap: Kearsley Takes a Loss

Kearsley extended their losing streak to six on Monday, dropping their season record down to 2-10 in the process. They came up short against the Linden Eagles, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 13-0 loss on Monday.

As for Linden, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 16-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games.

For Linden's part, Addi Siegwald (2027) was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those four runs gave Siegwald (2027) a new career-high. Kyla Harding (2026) also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kearsley will face off against rival Fenton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Linden is set to square off against their familiar foe Swartz Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
