Sahuaro fell victim to Mica Mountain and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 21-0 to the Thunderbolts. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, the Cougars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Mariano Blackwell threw for 37 yards on seven of 21 attempts.

Mica Mountain's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Colin Axford led the charge by rushing for 86 yards and two TDs. Those 86 rushing yards gave Axford a new career-high.
