Softball Game Preview: Ridge View Blazers vs. Lugoff-Elgin Demons

For the second straight game, Ridge View will face off against Lugoff-Elgin. The Blazers will venture away from home to square off against the Demons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ridge View is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ridge View's offense. They came up short against Lugoff-Elgin on Tuesday, falling 16-0.

For Lugoff-Elgin's part, Haleigh Miranda made a splash no matter where she played. The victory made it two in a row for Lugoff-Elgin and bumps their season record up to 5-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Ridge View, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
