Softball Recap: Bella Kling's Big Game Can't Quite Lead West Milford over Indian Hills

West Milford fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Indian Hills on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-2 to the Braves, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Highlanders just can't catch a break and have now endured nine defeats in a row.

Kaitlyn Clarke spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, West Milford saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Kling, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI.

West Milford's record is now 4-12. As for Indian Hills, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-9.

West Milford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Indian Hills, they will welcome NV - Old Tappan at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
