With a playoff win on the line, Tuscaloosa Academy rose to the challenge on Monday. They blew past the Greene County Tigers 65-44. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Greene County lost, don't look at Za'Kyia Manning. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 boards. Manning has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more rebounds the last 11 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of R'Kajah Nickson, who posted eight points and ten boards.

Tuscaloosa Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Greene County, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 10-9 record.
