After flying high against Varsity Opponent on Tuesday, Heritage Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Warriors fell just short of the Hattiesburg HomeSchool Forerunners by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Heritage Christian Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-10, 7-25, 25-20, 15-9.

Heritage Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hattiesburg HomeSchool, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heritage Christian Academy will challenge Lumberton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hattiesburg HomeSchool, they will venture away from home to challenge New Life Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
