Boonsboro has gone a perfect 10-0 against Brunswick recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Railroaders at 4:45 p.m. Boonsboro's pitching crew has only allowed 1.7 runs per game this season, so Brunswick's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Last Monday, Boonsboro made easy work of Clear Spring and carried off a 17-2 win. Considering the Warriors have won nine contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Brunswick's offense. They came up short against Francis Scott Key on Tuesday, falling 6-0. The Railroaders have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Kassidy Barnhouse was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she struck out six batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Brunswick saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sienna Russo, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Boonsboro's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Brunswick, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Everything went Boonsboro's way against Brunswick when the teams last played back in March, as Boonsboro made off with a 13-0 victory. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Railroaders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
