Volleyball Recap: Toms River North Takes a Loss

The Toms River North Mariners came up short against the Freehold Boro Colonials on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Mariners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Toms River North's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Freehold Boro, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7.

Coming up, Toms River North will welcome Middletown North at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mariners are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Freehold Boro, they will take on Toms River East at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Colonials will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: the Raiders will have lost four straight heading into Tuesday's contest.
